i survived my persuasive speech. the speech that i literally crammed for because i have no idea how to "connect" my research stuff to be able to make sense out of it. In the end everything just fell into place. I was able to prove that abortion should not be legalized on the philippines. good thing i didnt get barok. oh yes!

we have a math longtest tomorow and here i am typing this entry. whatever.

kim and marga are gonna celbrate their birthday at mcdo katips this friday! as in 100% kiddie birthday and im so excited!

my classmates and i are (is?) in the middle of another hell week now. second hell week this quarter. there is just an unbelievable amount of stuff to do. and we have music tomorow. which i totally dread. (yes. dread it more than the math LT tomorow) dont get me wrong, i totally love singing and drums and guitar chords and that kind of music. the music subject is the one that i dread. i just cant get the hang of those music notes. at least im now able to understand it a bit. but whatever, i still dont like music.

i guess i should really quit this now. i gotta study!

pros: yeah! no classes tomorrow! and im so happy because i have more time to study for our math LT which will probably be held on monday. good thing there was also no classes today, i was not able to finish studying yesterday. i started really late and im not even halfway through by 11pm. i do not know what got into me but i just decided im gonna sleep na. it was only this morning when i realized that what i did could "produce" really really bad grades if ever the LT pushed through. oh well. thats over and i can stop studying now. haha.

NO CLASSES!!!

definately the people in affected provinces. we are in a crisis now. if you think about it, rejoicing over no classes because of the typhoon is selfish. people are hungry, cold and dying. houses have been ruined. families broken. all because of this typhoons. illegal logging is the "mastermind" in all of these. although im happy because there's no classes tomorow, i am greatly concerned with all these people.

it hasnt rained the whole day. well, except for a light drizzle at around lunch time. in fact, the sun was up showering me with it's powerful rays (woah.descriptive?). haha. and there's still no classes. probably because president gloria already announced that there's gonna be no classes and she can't take her word back. its like admitting your wrong. which is totally okay.. if your not the president. haha

:sigh: kim and marga's party couldve pushed through. oh well

my mom and i went to shang supermarket to buy the ingredients for my cookies so we could start baking early to be able to deliver them on time. since we have quite a lot of orders, our list included:

26 bars of butter
11 packs of oatmeal
10 packs of sugar
1 really big bag of flour

we were able to fill one huge cart and one medium cart. people were like looking at us probably because we looked like paranoid people, panic buying. haha. it was funny. i was also able to grab a copy of candy december ish., 2 bars of hersheys s'mores haha! and 6 rolls of this really cute christmas wrapping paper. oohh.. let the wrapping begin! im so excited.

i have like a really sucky title for this entry.

MOVIES TO WATCH

*bridget jones: the edge of reason --let's see if the sequel is as hilarious as the first one

*alexander --good reviews + colin farrell (!!!), but its rated R-13 here and since my brother is not allowed yet, most probably i wont be able to watch this movie.

*mr and mrs. smith (2005) --starring brad pitt (!!!) and angelina jolie as the best looking couple ever.. oohh and adam brody (!!!) too! brad pitt my ultimate celebrity crushie.

trivia: nicole kidman was originally cast as mrs. smith, but then dropped out. Subsequently, Brad Pitt also left the project, but came back aboard when Angelina Jolie signed on. :wink:

*oceans twelve --brad pitt, george clooney and matt damon 'nuff said.

*closer --well yeah. it has a lot of sexual stuff and it will probably be rated R-18 here, but this is natalie portman's first "mature" flick, playing alice, a stripper. not naman mature, but definately waaaaayyy more grown up than the cheesy roles she usually gets.

*harry potter and the goblet of fire (2005) -- daniel radcliffe (!!!) trivia: Warner Bros. is aiming for November 18th, the Friday efore Thanksgiving, which currently puts them up against James Bond 21. The two movies appeal to different audiences, so I think they might actually both stick to this date.

When Warner Bros. first acquired the rights to produce 'Harry Potter' movies from J.K. Rowling, they only bought the first four films, with this being the last of that deal.

*harry potter and the order of the phoenix- daniel again (!!!) again! trivia: Because of the lengths of the fourth and this fifth novel (nearly 900 pages!), there have been reports that each of these books may actually each be produced as two separate films at the same time (like Lord of the Rings and the Matrix sequels), and then released in the same year.

*christmas with the kranks --read the book. see the movie. but i think they stopped airing it already. tsk

*spongebob squarepants movie --loooovvvve the cartoon! gotta see the movie

*jurassic park IV (2005) -- trivia: The actual year of release will depend upon when production actually starts. Given the four years between each of the first three films (1993, 1997, and 2001), the likely target release would be summer, 2005. "Variety" has confirmed that.

Title Prediction: (7/22/01) Since the title of Jurassic Park III was designed to look like the III was a claw mark, perhaps the IV for this will look like a footprint?

*spiderman 3 (2007) -- who does not love spiderman?

*star wars episode iii: revenge of the sith (2005) -- hayeden christensen (!!!) yeyness! i think that hayden christensen and natalie portman are the cutest un-couple next to, of course, alicia keys and usher (my oh! my oh! my oh! my boooo)

missy got a new phone! not just a new phone, a camera-d phone. as in the latest camera-d phone. 76something. the phone in the really cool "fashion squad" commercial. that leaves me, vicky and kim without a "modernized" and "camera-d" phone in the barkada. well, at least vicky's phone is colored and she has access to a "modernized" one. and kim's phone has a radio. oh my. my friends were teasing me because the moment missy showed us her phone, i was the first person (well, except missy) to grab it and take pictures. vain ness to the max. (vanity is the proper term i know.)

saw bridget jones: the edge of reasin already. it was funny. though the first one was funnier. but i like the plot of this one better.

goal: find myself a mark darcy. who's so patient and loving and willing to fly from dubai to riyadh just to find this hottie who was responsible for the coccaine in the souvenir snake bowl that my friend asked me to carry bacause her bag was full. who was also responsible for sending me behing bars in a foreign country with inmates who trades cigarettes for bras. and fly back again to dubai to give me the papers to make sure im released. in other words, a man who's willing to do all that (fly all over saudi etc.) just to make sure, im okay..
