frustrated shopper..

my fam (mom, dad, hans, lola bits and her grandson) and i went to market! market! at fort bonifacio yesterday.. their mall kinda resembled glorietta.. complete with the water fountain and the playground thingy (which my brother and my lola's grandson dubbed "the kids" absolutely adore!).. its a pretty big mall and the 5th floor isnt even developed yet.. they have this tiangges (!!!) inside the mall, divided into 4 categories one for each "developed" floor.. i loved the gift market! but i wasnt able to really explore it because the first time i went in i thought it as kinda boring.. big mistake! the 2nd time i went in, there were all this shops filled with christmas-gift-potential goods! arghh! oh well, during the short time i was in, i got to browse through most of the stores and i didnt see anything suited for my christmas list, and besides im quite contented with my "buys" of the day: candy mag (nov. ish), acetone and a pretty shade of pink nail polish --from watsons 2pairs of flipflops, the blue and yellow one with the hearts print as a christmas gift for my friend who absolutely loves them and a lovely lovely black one with red floral print for moi --from (of course) banana peel.. before shopping, we dropped my parents off at the cinemas and after shopping we went to the kids paradise.. the playground, their we waited for my parents to finish their movie..and well, we decided to go home.. teehee! ü

ohhhh.. i changed my toe nail polish from rebel blue to princess pink and hot chick hot pink.. stripes.. kinda monochromatic.. ü

well, it really isnt new. i just changed the background color from black to white. a kind of reinvention. from hippy gothic black to clean angelic white. whatever. bottom line is i am tooootttallly addicted to pink.

i just realized that my blog is my other side. my maarte side. well im already maarte and vain at school, but this is my uhh.. really maarte side. heck. sue me.

ho hum. so bored. my brother's answering my old 2nd grade math book. and he's laughing at my mistakes. so what if i answered 40 for 8*5? i was in 2nd grade! haha. i still love my brother anyways.

im trying to lose weight right now. and im really really using every ounce of my energy to eat healthily. pray for me!

im excited for our school fair entitled Summa: Miriam on High !! theres gonna be a dance on the last day and its nice to try something new aside from the usual concert (rumors said that bamboo and sugrafree will play! E-X-C-I-T-E-D!) the fair's in two weeks and im going crazy.

swatch's matteo guidecelli

ohhh..i have a new celebrity crushie!

credentials:

-swatch's newest endorser

-fil italian

-karter

-first filipino racer to win double Karter of the Year honors in the Premiere ICA Open Class and the Rotax Junior

-addict mobile's newest endorser

-loves soccer, badminton, golf and basketball

-fitness buff and loves music (plays the drums!)

-very protective kuya to kid sister georgia..

ohhh.. matteo guidecelli is the name. he's 14! (im 13!) theyre looking for his "partner". i read in the newspaper: "Swatch Boy searches for Kitty Girl" (dream on bea! haha..). i searched in the internet and his name pops up in every racer-slash-karting competiton. ohhh..hes RED HOT! i am so crushing on him that im getting tongue tied and at a lost for words. i cant describe how i fell. teehee. girlish crushes.

cant post his pic now because my photobucket isnt activated yet and i cant find a pic of him in the internet.

advise: visit any swatch store and most probably you'll see a poster of him. in all his karter glory. wearing his karter suit and holding his helmet and looking every bit like a Greek God . ohh.. matteo guidecelli is so dayme hot! and he's only 14! (it could happen!!)

i finally had the guts to wear my black sleeveless top again!! ohh.. i think i looked pretty good. definately better than what i expected. so much better that the salesguy at chevrolet shaw kinda introduced himself and asked stuff about me. i was creeped out and it was surprising that i was still able to act all poised. deep inside i was totally freaked out!! arghh..

ohh..my friends also love matteo! he's in meg and i cant wait to buy a copy!

till here. still have a lot of studying and matteo-day dreaming to do.

i love matteo guidecelli!

***would you believe that my mom, hans and i were able to go on a foodtrip while going home from school?! streetfood trip that is. my motha (i am now one of those african american rappers) dearest bought banana cue and binatog, the corn thingy with lots of shaved coconut. i bought "egg waffles" (according to my beloved school) or quail eggs in orange wrapper or tuknene in kanto lingo.. it was yummy! haha. and i had tons of fun!

i still love ADORE GIANMATTEO FERNAN GUIDECELLI!!

writer's block..

i have not been updating my blog as often as i used to. and i am really bothered by this. it's just that i do not have any freakin' thing to write! and i really am troubled by this.

ohhh. i love next week! we dont have classes on monday because of ramadan. tuesday is our reco. wedenesday is our only normal class day, but i guess it wouldnt be really normal because they said classes are half day only and the rest of the day would be spent for fair preparations. and of course, much awaited event on thursday to saturday, the FAIR.. yahoo.. there's gonna be a campus idol thingy on thursday and the concert encaenia (!!) on friday night and acrophobia, the dance on saturday night. my friends and i probably wont go to the dance if ever the ateneo concert thing will push through. if ever. haha. geoff eigenmann's gonna be at the dance and there's gonna be a dating thing were 3 representatives per section are asked to join. the winner will get to have the "first dance" and get to go on a movie and dinner date with him. wow. my classmates, knowing that i like geoff (he's cute. but i do not like him as much as matteo. matteo kwentos later.) asks me if i could be the representative. haha. i really don't know. i mean. hello?! this is the real thing?! haha. probably would not join. haha. i am just super excited about the fair. we got the coke booth, last year, my section, tre-se, got teazers, we expected the worst from teazers since they arent really that popular.. but in the end, we exceeded way way our qouta and we kinda "won over" coke. unfortunately, there's no teazers this year because it "attracts" way too much money, and the coke booths are given to the school for free so there earnings go to the school. but for teazers earnings go to the owners or something like that. being the spongecola addicts many of us are, we named it spongecoolah probably with a pic of spongebob or yael holding a coke. haha. corny. anyhoo. im just really overly excited about the fair-slash-the whole week next week!

kiara lent me all american girl by meg cabot and im reading it now. (also reading at home in mitford-hrr and the hobbit and veronika decides to die all at the same time! stopped reading this three to give way to all american girl) and its just super funny. i cannot put the book down! im already half way and i just started reading yesterday night. i definately love teen lit. ohh.. and wouldnt it be exciting to have the presidents son have a crush falling in love with you you? and you falling for him too?!

invented word of the day: teen lit.- a younger, teen-er version of chick lit.

about matteo, he's a looker yeah, but he isnt really that cute in other pics. i just love his swatch poster pic. i still love him anyway, he's a karting champ at 14?! ohh.. he's also part of penshoppe's club pen commercial thingy with cogie and vj ala. (there's this girl there who's like a rocker-slash-model at 14.. dawn balogot? *mataray jelous look*)

oops. i guess im not writer's block after all. teehee.

ice cream, christmas shopping, the incredibles and old songs.

** this was an entry for yesterday

since sunday is family bonding we usually follow our weekly schedule: church, lunch, movie, home.

today we didnt follow our sked due to time differences instead we:

1. went to the furniture convention thingy at megamall since we came in late and didnt catch the 9am mass.

2. went to the cinemas to see the movie schedules since my parents wanted to watch after the sunset and we, the kids wanted to watch the incredibles. and their schedules didnt match at the glorietta cinemas, so we were thinking that the parents watch after the sunset at mega and we watch another movie. and at glorietta we watch the incredibles while they watch something else.

3. too bad. time sked's did not match also. lunch na lang!

4. lunch at el pollo loco. LOVE their chicken and rice! yum!

5. chevrolet trailblazer test drive at shaw. ohh.. nice car. nice nice car. i like it. it even has this like tape recorder where you can record songs or whatever. their back seat is so comfortable that i almost fell asleep in it.

6. kia at edsa. to check out sorento (my past car love). i fell in love with their itsy bitsy teensy weensy picanto.

7. still love ford explorer the best! and cant wait to test drive it neeext week! ü

8. glorietta! the incredibles line was super long! good thing we were able to get good seats! haha. movie was really cute! i love jack jack! haha. mom and dad watched wicker park. and they liked it.

9. spamjam. also at glorietta.

10. beforespamjam, i went to tickles to check out their stuff. bought some for christmas gifts. i love christmas shopping now! when i was younger i used to dread christmas shopping and i end up giving everyong the same stuff. ever since i bought my first gift to a friend at greenhills. i got hooked! it just makes me feel satisfied giving something to a person that he/she will like. now, whenever im at the mall or at tiangges, not only do i look stuff for myself, i also look out for the perfect christmas gift. i totally love christmas shopping! ...and im not even in the wrapping part yet.

11. grocery. my dad decided he wanna have a party so they were like buying prawns, steaks and ice cream. we tried out selecta's new choco almond brownie and i love it to bits! it's got real brownie chunks and a perfect comfort food. were taste testing the menu tonight! yum!

12. on the way home, my parets were all senti and they were tuned on the old songs station on the radio. i dont know what it is, but hearing (and singing to) stand by me (so dahling dahling! stand by meee! ohhhh stand by me!), dance with me (not the michael buble version) and yellow polka dot bikini (itsy bitsy teeny weeny yellow polk dot bikini!) makes me feel so relaxed and cool and all puppy love during the old days when women were in skrits, pearls and pumps and men were in suits. .

13. home.. we feasted on el pollo loco left overs with knorr seasoning.

14. i totally love choco almong brownie, yellow polka dot bikini, christmas shopping, and the incredibles.

**went to shopwise today and as usual i checked out their tiangges, i fell in love with these 2 pairs of shoes. the 1st one was colored black and had like 2inch wedge-type heels (php300) that looks really really good in capris (i was wearing one when i fitted it). i love it. the other was this sneaker-slash-flats type colored blue and white (php300). i love it. to my horror, the blue sneaks-slash-flats had some kind of damage and i sadly had to give it up even though i really really love it. besides, my practicality mode was on and i thought of saving the money for buying christmas gifts instead. and even though it breaks my heart. i had to give up the wedge ones too. oohh..to heal the "pain" i bought myself this black top that im gonna wear to the fair! haha..

till here!

awww..

awww..there might be no blogging for me this week! because of the fair.

they built the octupus and booth stands already. tomorow's gonna be a half day for fair preparations! yahoo!

we had our recollection today and my eyes are still sore. we had a crying fest during the family part and being the sensitive-during-family-issues person that i am, i broke down as soon as the moderator said "pick one from the questions (sheasked us family related questions. our answers must be a family member) that i asked you and tell me the answer so we could pray for you". this is the first time that i knew that so many of us have family problems. that we even have the same problems. this made me realized how good we are in keeping our family problems to ourselves and smiling like nothing's wrong when in school. how good pretenders we are. like what nix said "yung problema mo sa bahay, wag mo ng dadalhin sa school, para masaya". maybe thats the reason why we dont discuss it in school. we dont wanna think about it in school. we "escape" from all of these issues in school and i admire my classmates for being such strong strong persons. i love you 2-5!!

I LOVE 2-5! GOING ON A HIATUS!

i love yael yuzon!

its official. i am in love. whole heartedly in love. I LOVE YAEL YUZON!! yes. he is so (insert every damn adjective synonymous to "hot", "handsome" and "rocker" here)!!!

i was feeling a bit down already because this is my first spongecola concert and my curfew is until 12am only and they still arent playing at around 11.10pm. my friend and i found all the other previous bands a bit boring so we went outside and their we danced our hearts out. we were all high and wild due to the extreme amounts of coke we drank (our booth). this "dancing at brennan drive" is definately making me feel better. but still, i want spongecola!. when cambio was playing they took off the security thingy and we got the chance to "position ourselves" at the very very front of the stage. after cambio, spongecola was next. and there was yael fixing his guitar. he looks mysterious while fixing his stuff. parang really serious complete with the crunched up forehead. he's gwapo already with the "mysterious" look, but whenever he'd smile and sing woohoo! thats another story. he looks ever bit the rockstar that he really is! he was and still is, so gwaaaappooooo!! and he plays really really good too! there's something about the way he playes, and their music over all, that really makes you feel alive. at one point during the middle of their performance, tired after all the jumping and screaming, i just stared at him play, and he rocks real hard and real cool! plus armo, chris and gosh were super good too. i like armo.

I LOVE YAEL YUZON! no words can explain how i felt during the concert.

ohhh..after only 3 but mesmerizing songs, they left. so jo, missy, marga, nowee and i went out to get some air. we were just their, sweaty, with no voices and hangover from everything. we decided to accompany marga to her car and guess what?! hurrah hurrah! we saw their van leave! and yael was by the window and i waved at him and he returned my wave too! complete with his irresistable (sp?) somewhat "rare" smile! haha.. after that i was definately in love with him. we proceeded to make hatid to marga and another hurrah! hurrah! their van passed us and this time all of my friends waved and he waved back!! haha.. i am now really really in love with him!!
haha! that definately puts the icing on my one hella terrific day!

woohoo! i really really love yael yuzon! i have a crush on matteo guidecelli. but i LOVE yael yuzon!

even though i wanna elaborate. i have to end this already.
one thing i will repeat forever and ever: i love adore, yael yuzon! and spongecola itself!

spongecola!

i have been listening to a totally different music genre this past few days. i have been listening to rock. and im totally loving it. i mean i was used growing up listening to bubble gum pop. britney, christina, ashanti, jessica, mandy, name it. so when my classmates introduced rock to me i felt like im in a whole new world. a new world with electric guitars, bassist's, and the speaker thingy you plug the electric guitar with so that it can produce sound. dont get me wrong, i still love other genre's but there's something in rock (and the way yael sings!) that really makes me stick to it.

i dont consider myself a rocker yet (not like my goal is to be a rocker). i mean the only rock albums i have as of the moment are spongecola, eraserheads, sandwich, kitchie nadal, bamboo and parokya ni edgar. (which i absolutely adoooooore!! though i am now familiar with cambio, ciudad, sugarfree, and other rock bands i am too lazy to type.)and i really do not like screaming rock, the ones were you cannot understand a word because of all the screaming. im taking one step at a time to really appreciate the world of rock. and im sure its gonna be one hella of a good experience!

meanwhile, as i listen to another round of spongecola's partisan, while contemplating on whats the difference between a bass and an electric guitar, one thing i wanna say:

rak on! m/

mcdo katips.

on a regular school day at around 3-4pm, mcdo katips is always filled with blue and green. ALWAYS. and im not talking about ateneo and lasalle. filled with blue polos (with khaki's) and green skirts (with light light brown colored blouses) mcdo katips is every (well, almost every..) atenean and knoller's tambayan, meeting place, project place, bonding place and several other uses all in one. i seriously consider it as katipunan's landmark next to ateneo. i do not know what's with mcdo. really. but just the sense of being there (which is once in a blue moon for me) makes me happy. today, was one of those blue moons. my class and i were supposed to watch a play by banaag tau-tauhan (congrats to banaag for another great performance!) we were scheduled at 5-6pm and to kill time we decided to head to the ultimate epitome of social butterflies. i was with vix, ac ,kim ,missy ,krizia, rae, jo, and joyce. nix, aj, georgia, angge, patty, and moncha followed later. lacking bigger tables, we formed an L-shaped "group" of chairs and tables. we were the biggest group. armed with burgers, coke, lots of sundaes and even more fries. we were having the greatest time. nix made this really really long straw by connecting them and it was so funny. haha. (im looking really stupid now because im smiling goofily while staring at the computer screen) and of course "picture tayo" was present. we were the noisiest and we were having one really goooooooddddd time!! haha..

LOVE YAH 2-5!! ü

i survived my halter dress..

my brother had his first communion yesterday (sunday). so my mom and i went shang last saturday to buy something to wear. well, it is a semi formal event. my mom bought this long sleeved top in a gorgeous bright orange color and i ended up buying this really pretty black halter dress with floral stitching: one problem: i DO NOT wear halter tops, hanging tops, tank tops, racerbacks or any other clothing that reveals my "problem parts" (i.e. un-thin areas) much more wear an above the knee halter cocktail dress?! i seriously do not know what got into me. i just found myself slipping into that skimpy outfit an hour before my brother's communion. surprisingly though, i felt cool and confident, like i was wearing halter dresses all my life. well, i did get concious but what the heck, i was already wearing it. i was the only person (except for my sister who came in a few minutes late and who's super thin so i looked like a balyena sitting beside her) wearing a halter. well, probably because you are not supposed to wear a halter (or any other revealing outfits) on a church-slash-holy occasion.

i could only say that i survived. survived the side glances. survived the chilly air. done something i knew was impossible. i survived my halter dress with flying colors.

haha. maybe next time though i'll wear something more conservative. but now i have the confidence to wear any piece of clothing that i like because i had the guts to wear a halter dress inside the church of the gesu, in front of hundreds of parents and kids and guests.

hmmm.. maybe i should wear my dress to a party this weekend? ya think?
